Residential Service
Service Calls and Repairs
Something stopped working? I find the cause, explain it in plain terms and fix it properly, from one dead outlet to a breaker that won't stay on.
Service Calls and Repairs
Small Job or Big Problem, It Gets Done Right
Most calls start with something simple: a breaker that keeps tripping, an outlet that died, lights that flicker. The fix is only as good as the diagnosis, so I trace the problem to its cause instead of swapping parts and hoping.
You get a clear explanation of what I found, what it takes to fix and what it costs before the work starts.

When to Call
Common Reasons People Call
Breaker Keeps Tripping
It resets, then trips again. Something on that circuit needs finding.
Outlets or Lights Dead
Often a tripped GFCI or breaker, sometimes a loose connection.
Flickering Lights
From a loose bulb to a service connection. Worth checking.
Adding a Hot Tub
A dedicated circuit and a GFCI disconnect, sized to the spa.
New Appliance or Shop Tools
A dedicated circuit so it runs without tripping anything else.
Warm Outlet or Burning Smell
Stop using it and call. If there is smoke or fire, call 911 first.

Service Calls FAQs
Straight answers to what people ask most. Anything else, just call.
Tell Me What You Need
Call, or send the job details and photos with the quote form. The more I know up front, the better the first conversation.
Get a Clear Answer
For repairs I come out and find the cause. For projects I visit, then send an itemised estimate with options.
Work Done Right
Scheduled, done to code and explained as I go, with a clean walkthrough at the end.
Do you take small jobs?
Yes. A single outlet, a fixture swap or one tripping breaker is worth a call. Small jobs are a big part of what I do.
How quickly can you come out?
Call and tell me what is going on. Urgent problems get priority, and I will give you a straight answer on timing.
Do you install mini-splits?
I do the electrical side: the dedicated circuit, disconnect and wiring. Your HVAC contractor installs the unit and refrigerant lines.
Can you wire my hot tub?
Yes. Hot tubs need a dedicated circuit and a GFCI disconnect located to code. I size it to your spa and your panel.
What should I do if I smell burning?
Stop using that circuit and switch off its breaker if you can do it safely. If there is smoke or fire, get out and call 911 first, then call me.
